Natascha Pichler

Natascha Pichler is an Austrian violinist specialising in historical performance
practice. She has worked with several leading early music ensembles such as the
Netherlands Bach Society, Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, Il Giardino Armonico and Concerto d’Amsterdam. Natascha has also been a member of the European Union Baroque Orchestra and Theresia Orchestra with whom she has recorded orchestral works of the classical period. She has collaborated with artists like Ton Koopman, Giovanni Antonini, Richard Egarr, Hans-Christoph Rademann, Gottfried von der Goltz, Alfredo Bernardini and Francesco Corti. Natascha is currently the Young Bach Fellow of the Netherlands Bach Society.
She has been part of several academies including the OAE experience scheme, the Balthasar Neumann Academy, Gli Incogniti Chamber Music Academy and Musikfest Bremen Atelier, where she performed as concertmaster in Handel’s „Clori, Tirsi e Fileno“. On these occasions she has received coaching and mentorship from Amandine Beyer, Veronika Skuplik, Maggie Faultless and Leila Schayegh, amongst others.
Natascha is a founding member of Ensemble Polychroma, who won the 1st prize in the LIFEM Early Music competition 2024. Since then, they have been performing internationally at festivals and concert series such as Musica Antica da Camera The Hague and London International Festival of Early Music 2025. Their current season includes performances at the Telemann Center Magdeburg and at Schloss Rheinsberg where they hold the position of “Neue Rheinsberger Hofkapelle 2025/26”.
Natascha has performed solo recitals at the Utrecht Early Music Festival Fringe 2024 and has appeared as a leader and soloist in Bach’s 1st Brandenburg Concerto and Mozart Violin Concerto No. 4.
Natascha graduated from the Royal College of Music London and the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, having studied with Walter Reiter, Ani Schnarch and Bojan Čičić. She is currently taking lessons with Kati Debretzeni at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague.

Natascha is supported on the 2025-26 Intrada scheme, run in partnership with four partner ensembles: B’Rock Orchestra, Concerto Copenhagen, Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, and Dunedin Consort.
