Welcome to Dunedin Consort Deaf Season!
A series of concerts designed to make the world of music and performance more accessible for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Through vibrant performances and expert BSL and music interpretation from Paul Whittaker OBE we invite Deaf audiences to experience the world renowned music and musicians of Dunedin Consort. We believe that music is a powerful language and are working hard to make it accessible to everyone.
We offer affordable discounted tickets for the Deaf community, reserved seating with easy views of both our BSL interpreter and our musicians on stage, plus our staff have been trained in basic BSL ready to welcome you.
Join us for accessible performances designed to inspire, educate, and connect people of all hearing abilities. Our Deaf Season is where creativity meets inclusivity and we hope you join us at one of our concerts soon!
About Your Visit
All of the Dunedin Consort staff team have training in basic BSL. So when you arrive for the performance, please say hello, and let a member of staff know you are here.
We have reserved seats for each Deaf Season Concert with good views of both our musicians and Paul Whittaker who will be providing BSL interpretation for the concerts.
Our team will show you where these seats are once you arrive.
