If you have ever wondered what goes into making Dunedin Consort performances so special, why not join us at one of our free open rehearsals? Hear for yourself how the music is pieced together, and discover the intricate processes that create the intangible Dunedin Consort magic you hear in the concert hall.
When and where are they?
- Handel’s Leading Ladies – Tuesday 24 November 2026 – Edinburgh: 18:00-21:00
- Handel: Belshazzar – Wednesday 13 January 2027 – London: 18:30-21:30
- Bach: Matthew Passion – Tuesday 23 March 2027 – Edinburgh: 18:00-21:00 (NB this rehearsal is likely to be focused on Recitatives)
- Strings of Italy – Saturday 24 April 2027 – Edinburgh: 14:00-17:00
- Handel: Dixit Dominus – Tuesday 18 May 2027 – Glasgow: 14:00-17:00

Can I turn up on the day?
Places are limited and should be booked in advance on the website. If we are fully booked you can request to be added to the waiting list.
Our open rehearsals are £3, however, if you are not in a position to pay you can sign up for free – no questions asked!
