Mhairi Lawson

As a soloist Mhairi Lawson has performed in opera houses and concert halls worldwide including English National Opera, Les Arts Florissants, The Gabrieli Consort and The Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and with leading conductors such as William Christie, Sir Charles Mackerras, Paul McCreesh, Jane Glover and Sir John Eliot Gardiner.

Recent and future highlights include a series of concerts of Bach cantatas with Laurence Cummings and the Royal Northern Sinfonia, a recital with Christian Curnyn as part of the Spitalfields Festival in London, Galatea Acis and Galatea and Purcell’s King Arthur with the Early Opera Company, Handel’s Messiah with the Hallé, the Dunedin Consort and the Oxford Philomusica, Bach’s St Matthew Passion with Paul McCreesh and the Gabrieli Consort, and Mhairi continues her recital collaboration with Eugene Asti.
