Workshops. Handel, Dixit Dominus. Bach, Magnificat.

Bute Hall, Glasgow University
Sunday, 13 March 2011, 19.30

Dunedin invites you to join them in an exciting project of day and residential workshops around Scotland focusing on two sacred masterpieces of the Baroque: Handel’s Dixit Dominus and Bach’s Magnificat. The project will culminate in a performance of the works on Sunday 13th March in the Bute Hall of Glasgow University in conjunction with Glasgow University Choral Society. This follows similar highly successful annual projects, when hundreds of amateur singers took part in workshops and performances of Handel’s oratorio Israel in Egypt, and Bach’s Mass in B Minor.

The workshops will be led by John Butt and Susan Hamilton, artistic directors of Dunedin.
